Bone density test results include a number called a T-score. Normal is zero (0). The more negative the number, the weaker your bones and the more likely they are to break. A T-score between-1.0 and-2.5 means you have low bone density (also called osteopenia). A T-score that is -2.5 or less indicates osteoporosis.
